I suppose its the transparacy, or better the lack of it. I am new at this stuff all together and made the sprite bigger with paint. It is what adiktuzmiko says, I see the dark edges of the sprite. The sprite is not bigger then the window. ![]() I know I've had a picture explode onscreen using animations, but I don't know if that patch works differently. I use the size of the window that comes standard with VX ace. And thanks to Daray of RPG Revolution for noting how the battle animations only performed at battler ‘start’ positions rather than their ‘current’ position (if performing a moving attack). As I recall, battle animations appear as a higher priority over pictures, which would mean the overlay wouldn't affect the animation. Also to zhein04 (from RPG Revolution) for noting a ‘default collapse’ bug. That's a pretty genius idea, NB, but I'm not sure if the mechanics work like that exactly. It's possible, but I'd probably be better off making a total CBS. Making sure those animations are correctly assigned for nighttime/dusk/fire/etc situation and making duplicate equipment and skills for each to be quietly replaced before the start of battle is the nightmare. Retinting each animation wouldn't be too bad. With this method, you can throw that right out the window. This usually requires a lot of 'Show Picture' commands along with a Wait command after every single one to control how fast or slow the animation goes. ![]() The so called clock is no real clock, it is more like an image used to display night and. Okay, so lets start with something rather basic, which is a simple fade in & out. In addition to that it adds a customizable 'clock' to your game. As for your suggestion, I know that's the ultimate possibility. 1.0.5 by Heirukichi Description This script adds a Day/Night cycle and in-game time to your VX Ace game. The CBS encounters in my game don't have this problem, because the characters are not included in the attack animations like they are in the DBS fights. Yeah, that's an idea, but I feel like that's a lot of work to turn out something I'll probably not be satisfied with anyway.
